Dear Vue Cinemas & The Movie Industry

I’ve just seen the film Funny People, a pretty good film by all remarks however before said film I sat through a message from Martin Freeman that thanked me for not having a video camera and copying it. I’m a cinema goer I like to think I go more than average (about 3 times a month) and I also buy quite a few DVD’s, like many people in this world I have downloaded a movie or two previously, You want to attract people to the cinema, you want to slow down movie piracy (you’ll never stop it) wel

Are We Really Seeing the ‘Crapification of Everything’?

A new article by Robert Capps at Wired called “ The Good Enough Revolution ” puts forth an interesting hypothesis: the fundamental definition of Quality has changed from delivering excellence in all areas to delivering something that is ‘good enough’ but very easy to use and accessible. Here are some examples: - The Flip Video camera – fairly mediocre camera, but is extremely easy to use and sharing video online is simple. - MP3 – lower quality sound than CD’s or vinyl, but successful due to

Audrina Patridge: Heidi Montag is a No-Talent Hack

Now that she’s officially leaving The Hills after this year, Audrina Patridge isn’t afraid to leave with a parting shot at her co-star’s budding “music career.” While promoting her new movie Sorority Row over the weekend, Audzo was asked about Heidi Montag’s Miss Universe performance the previous Sunday. She did not hold back, saying: “I feel like Heidi, you know, she’s doing it for fun, where a lot of singers and people, they work their ass off, they actually have amazing voices and tal

Summer of Sonic 2009: Picture time

As you should know it was the Summer of Sonic 2009 event in London on Saturday. As well as hundreds of massive Sonic fans, I too was there taking plenty of pictures and wandering around with my video camera - so expect some seriously shaky camera work, coming soon. For those who weren’t able to make it to the show, here are some photos to give you a glimpse of what the action from the day, with the video highlights is still to come. Not your average Saturday morning in London’s Brick Lane;

This Kid Sucks At Both Basketball And Skateboarding

Perhaps this kid should take a semester of physics before trying a shot like this. We don’t know at what part he decided that ball was going in the hoop. This kid’s trick shot goes wrong when he sends the basket ball high speed to his face . At least it distracts from the 1987 video camera they are using and its ultra-loud zoom in and out sounds. It almost covers up the sounds of the kid screaming in pain, and your laughter as he does so. email &t; facebook stumbl
